ලොව විශාලම ගෙම්බා ඔස්ට්‍රේලියාවේ වැසි වනාන්තරයකින් හමුවී තිබෙනවා. එරට වනජීවී නිලධාරීන් පවසන්නේ “Cane Toad” නම් වර්ගයට අයත් එම සතා සාමාන්‍ය මැඩියෙකුට වඩා 6 ගුණයක් විශාල බවත් බරින් කිලෝ 2.7ක් පමණ වන බවත්ය. “Toadzilla” ලෙස නම් කර ඇති එම මැඩියාව වනාන්තරයෙන් ඉවතට ගෙනයෑමට නිලධාරීන් කටයුතු කර තිබේ. මැඩියන් විශේෂ ඔස්ට්‍රේලියාවට හඳුන්වාදී ඇත්තේ 1935දීය. ඉතා හානිකර පලිබෝධකයෙකු ලෙස මැඩියා සැලකෙනවා. එරට තුළ බිලියන 2ක පමණ මැඩියන් ගහනයක් ඇතැයිද පැවසෙනවා. එතෙක් ලොව හමුවූ ඇති විශාලතම මැඩියා හමුවී තිබුණේ ස්වීඩනයෙනි. උගේ බර කිලෝ 2.65ක් වුණා. එය මෙතෙක් පැවති ගිනස් වාර්තාව වනවා.
