ශ්‍රී ලංකාවෙන් තවත් කොරෝනා මරණ 5ක් වාර්තාවී තිබෙනවා. සෞඛ්‍ය සේවා අධ්‍යක්ෂ ජනරාල්වරයා විසින් ඊයේ තහවුරු කර ඇති මෙම මරණ අතර කාන්තාවන් 3 දෙනෙකු සහ පිරිමි පුද්ගලයන් දෙදෙනෙක් වනවා. එක් පිරිමි පුද්ගලයෙක් වයස අවුරුදු 30ත් 59ත් අතර වයස් කාණ්ඩයේ පසුවූ අයෙක්. අනෙක් පිරිමි පුද්ගලයා සහ කාන්තාවන් තිදෙනා අවුරුදු 30 සහ ඊට වැඩි වයස් කාණ්ඩයේ පසුවූවන්. මෙම මරණ 5ත් සමග මෙරට සමස්ත කොරෝනා මරණ සංඛ්‍යාව 16,335ක් දක්වා ඉහළ යනවා. මේ අතර ශ්‍රී ලංකාවෙන් මේ දක්වා කොරෝනා වෛරස් ආසාදිතයන් 668,336ක් හඳුනාගෙන ඇති අතර ඉන් 1534ක් රෝහල් ගතව නිවෙස්වල වෛද්‍ය අධීක්ෂණය යටතේ ප්‍රතිකාර ලබමින් පසුවනවා. සුවය ලබා නිවෙස් වෙත පිටත්ව ගොස් ඇති සංඛ්‍යාව 650,172ක්.
